Always busy and delicious! This place has a parking lot but it gets busy. There's street parking all around. The best thing is their outdoor seating area is shielded so it's not as cold while waiting for food. The menu is plastered on the wall with photos of all their options so you can decide while waiting in line.

We've tried: Quesatacos....Horchata....Nachos.... Tucán fries...tacos...burritos...quesadilla... Delicious food...street parking...usually a line... Had to wait 25 minutes for our food on a Saturday evening but it was well worth the wait Limited Outdoor seating only...first come first serve...there's a small area with covered "bar seating" This place can be even better if they had online ordering ;)

I recently visited Tacos El Tucan and was blown away by the authentic flavors and vibrant atmosphere. The tacos are simply divine--my favorite was the al pastor, with its perfectly marinated pork and a hint of spice that made every bite irresistible. The carnitas were equally delicious, with tender, juicy meat that melted in my mouth. The shrimp tacos were a delightful surprise, offering a fresh and zesty twist. The horchata and agua fresca were the perfect companions to the meal, refreshing and flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Tacos El Tucan to anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine at an affordable price!

Deep in Richmond on the way to the airport we decided to stop by and we were glad we did. They have their own parking lot which makes it nice. You order through the window like infront of the store. They do have outdoor seating only option but we took ours to go. Lady that ook our order was nice and patient as we figure out what to try. I hear they are known for birria tacos but unfortunately we didn't order that. We did order quesadilla and super carne asada burritos and it did not dissapoint. Each order was give chips and salsa.Let me add salsa was very good. They had mild and spicy. We already plan on coming and trying other things on their menu because we loved it.

Tacos El Tucan opened where Pup Hut was. Specialty-Tijuana-style tacos. Outside seating only. Offerings: tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, quesatacos, aqua fresca, nachos, bowls, plates. Tortillas house made. Same with tomato based medium salsa. Drill: order at right window, pay, pick up food at left window when # is called. 10ish minutes.. Bites: barria mulita (4.95) - schredded juicy beef between 2 corn tortillas with melty cheese, jalepenos, onion, cilantro..Yum! Shrimp taco(3.25) -5 medium grilled juicy shrimp smothered with orange crema mixed with cabbage, cilantro..deliz! Asada taco (3.25) -grilled juicy steak pieces topped with guacamole, mixed with cilantro, lettuce, onions. Delightful! Adobada taco (3.25) al pastor, -marinated pork topped with whitish crema. Mixed with lettuce, cilantro, white onions. Happily stuffed -4.5 stars took me awhile to eat it all. Had tears in my right eye. Not cuz it was so good but cuz a blister on my tongue tip made it difficult to eat. Food got cold before i ate it all. *free parking in lot behind eatery

They really don't miss here!! Fire burritos , don't skimp on the meat,'if you don't wanna wait in the line just order for pick up and it's quick. Wished there was more salads options but that's about it. My go to spot for burritos atm

Had the carne asada taco (pictured) and a shrimp burrito. Taco was bomb. Burrito was pretty good-- would've gotten a better review but I said no rice and there was rice in the burrito. Definitely will be back. It was a nice day in Richmond so the from patio area was a good place to site while I waited for my order. Horchata was legit as well.
